He has been teaching Political Science at CNLU since 2006. As an Assistant Course Coordinator and Nodal Officer of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Patna he imparts training to I.A.S., D.S.P., B.D.O. and C.O. Rank Probationer Officers. As a resource person he takes classes in UGC sponsored orientation & refresher courses in Political Science. He is also programme in-charge of IGNOU study Centre at CNLU. In the Academic field he has written numerous articles and presented several papers at National & International seminars. He has visited Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Italy & France during academic exchange programme and delivered lectures, chaired the technical session of seminars. He is also supervising ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2021-2022.
He has completed a one week course in Direct Trainer Skill Developed by Thames Valley University, United Kingdom in association with the Training Division, Department of Personnel and Training, Govt. of India. Hon’ble the Chief Justice of Patna High Court cum Chancellor of the University has appointed him Chair Professor Panchayati Raj, CNLU. He was also Registrar of the University from April 2008 to April 2018.

As a Project Coordinator completed Research Study on “Temperance Movement: The Impact of Liquor Prohibition on Socio-Economy and Livelihood in Bihar” sponsored by Dept. of Prohibition, Excise & Registration, Govt. of Bihar.
Capacity Building Training Programmes :
As a Chair Professor, Panchayati Raj, CNLU is imparting training to all Sarpanches/ Up-Sarpanches/ Nyaya-Mitras/ Gram Kachahari Secretaries of Bihar since 2018.
He is imparted two days training programme (11th & 12th November, 2022) as Course Coordinator to IAS Probationers of 2021 Batch.
